Eva Carroll is a journalist, presenter, former Delegate to the 65th UN Commission on the Status of Women, motivational speaker, actress and comedian. Inspiring people with her personal experiences, Eva is a passionate and dynamic speaker addressing topics such as mental health, equality, LGBTQ+ rights and climate justice.

Raised in Liverpool in a single-parent family, Eva was taught to never give up and to always do her best. With this advice she has achieved great objectives and became a bona fide motivation, completing her state school education and progressing to a student of English at Cambridge University. Breaking boundaries, Eva has succeeded in her vocation by fronting national campaigns for gender equality, running marathons for charity and speaking in the House of Commons, all in only a year. Strong-willed and possessing high self-belief, Eva has accomplished incredible things and motivates many people, especially students who face educational inequality so they can achieve greatness and receive the best from their education.

Having witnessed unprecedented hardships of mental health, women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights, Eva continues in her position to prioritise such aberrations. Personally facing anxiety herself, she is an advocate for mental health support and speaks on self-belief, mental health and body image. Eva strives for people to feel supported to allow them to enjoy life to the maximum. Also speaking on reproductive rights, medical inequality, and public sexual harassment, Eva has fought for change alongside other people in the divergence of women’s rights. Openly identifying as bisexual after coming out in 2021, Eva celebrates the LGBT+ community and recognizes the important conversations that must be had facing society’s complacency when it comes to the queer community.

At a young age, Eva has moved many. She received a standing ovation whilst speaking in the House of Commons as a member of the Youth Parliament for Liverpool. She also enlightened the nation with her campaign to stop street harassment whilst appearing on This Morning with Eammon and Ruth with her upsetting personal story. Also a youth ambassador for Plan International UK, Eva is a powerful youth voice who will educate and inspire all audiences.

Official Testimonials

Eva Carroll is regularly booked to engage audiences at events, read their latest feedback below:

“I have had the pleasure of attending several engagements with Eva, where she has represented Plan International UK as a member of our Youth Advisory Panel. Eva has spoken to large audiences on our behalf and always presents in a way that is insightful and impactful – getting to the heart of the issue, while including her own thoughts and experiences that really resonate with audiences. At the launch of our “What Works for Public Sexual Harassment” report Eva presented a powerful and heartfelt account of her experiences of public sexual harassment. She has also spoken about this topic on This Morning and BBC Radio Cambridge, as well as working with our corporate partners, including The Body Shop, to bring our joint campaigns to life on Instagram.”

Rose, CEO, Plan International UK

“Carroll, making a strong debut in Cambridge theatre, was compelling in the second half where the character of Linda really comes into her own; Carroll’s physicality of the vivacious young woman giving way to the exhausted, isolated housewife dragging shopping bags behind her was heart-wrenching.”

Varsity Review

“I was particularly impressed by the performances from […] Eva Carroll. Whilst other actors perhaps struggled to consistently convey a sense of variety in Russell’s dialogue, Carroll took on her role with remarkably good judgment, allowing herself to relish in the quieter moments of the script.”
