Now available to hire as an LGBTQIA+ speaker, Yasmin covers topics such as Asexuality, Aromanticism, intersectionality, Black-British experience in education and more.

Aged 18, Yasmin began her journey of diversifying modelling, now one of the UK’s most prominent Black models. Increasing representation within the modelling industry, Yasmin came out as Asexual and Aromantic in 2017 and began her advocacy for other people who also identified the same. With a goal to empower aromantic and asexual people to speak out, Yasmin passionately advocates for both their social and legal rights, ensuring that they are included in mainstream society. Yasmin is also the creator of #ThisIsWhatAsexualLooksLike, a movement to convey that asexuality has no set identity, asexual people look and dress whatever way they choose.

Today, Yasmin has caught the eye of many global publications, featured in the likes of Glamour Magazine, Vogue, Cosmopolitan and British GQ. She has also become a Board Member of the Asexual Visibility and Education Network and won the Attitude Pride Award 2021. She has also formerly been named on the Attitude101 Influential Figures List and the Visible100 List. She was also invited to present her own BBC Sounds series, titled Me and My Asexuality, raising awareness of asexuality and empowering others who identify that way.

On a mission to dispel misconceptions, Yasmin is now available to hire as an LGBTQIA+ speaker for a range of corporate events. Dispelling perceptions in an intersectional way, Yasmin has become an empowering face and voice for the LGBTQIA+ community and has spoken at various prominent events such as Prague Pride 2020, the LGBT Stem Conference and Oslo Pride 2021.
