Transgender Speakers

Transgender equality continues to be an important topic for diversity & inclusion experts, who ensure that all are included within society, regardless of how they identify. Our roster of Transgender speakers bring awareness to the injustice that members of the community continue to face in society, and how we can create an inclusive environment, in both the workplace and wider society.

From transgender inclusion in sport to inclusion in education, our speakers push for transgender issues to be heard loud and clear! In a world where 2/5 trans people have experienced a hate crime or incident because of their gender identity and more than 1/3 of trans university students have experienced negative comments or behaviour from staff, it is more important than ever that we support the Transgender community in both their needs and rights.

Transgender Awareness Week takes place from the 13th to the 19th of November, which endeavours to educate society on Transgender and gender non-conforming people’s issues. Transgender Day of Remembrance takes place on the 20th of November, memorialising victims of transphobic violence throughout history. Transgender Day of Visibility is celebrated on the 31st of March, raising awareness of the discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide.

With 79% of trans people not reporting hate crimes to the police, our speakers encourage open conversation on Transgender rights and the need to speak out about discrimination. When looking for an inspirational member of the transgender community to speak at your event, book a speaker from our roster.
