Antoni Porowski is famed for his role as the Food & Wine Expert on the hit Netflix show Queer Eye, having enjoyed a successful career in acting and reality TV. Passionate about food and wine, Antoni is also a budding Chef and has demonstrated his culinary skills on the likes of This Morning. When he’s not showing off his cookery skills or knowledge on Queer Eye, Antoni is booked as an LGBT+ speaker to share his passionate advocacy for the rights of the LGBT+ community.
Before the heights of fame of reality TV, Antoni was an actor performing in shows such as Elliot Loves, The Pretenders and Daddy’s Boy. Since the early days of his career, Antoni has starred in countless other TV programmes, including Blue Mountain State, Nailed It!, Lip Sync Battle and The Blacklist. Amongst starring on TV, Antoni also has a passion for cookery, having released his own cookbooks titled Antoni in the Kitchen and Antoni: Let’s Do Dinner. He has also previously managed a sushi restaurant located on Bond Street in London.
His culinary passions have also led to Antoni opening his very own restaurant, named The Village Den in New York City West Village. He was also signed to join Queer Eye as the Food & Wine Expert, teaching participants of the show on everything from making BBQ dishes to healthier meals. Highly respected for his role on Queer Eye, Antoni was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Host of a Reality or Competition Programme.
Outside of cooking and reality TV, Antoni is a passionate supporter of the LGBT+ community- in particular acting as a Member of the Equaversity Foundation. The Equaversity Foundation is committed to raising international funding to support LGBT+ communities in Poland, a cause close to Antoni’s heart. Having openly spoken about his disapproval of countries attitudes to the LGBT+ community, Antoni is now booked as an LGBT speaker to encourage equality and inclusion. No stranger to large audiences after a career in the TV limelight, Antoni Porowski makes for a perfect speaker or event host for a range of LGBT+ inclusion themed events.
