Christina Vegas is a trailblazing performer, writer, and producer with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry. As a proud trans woman, Christina has made history by breaking barriers both on stage and off, becoming a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community through her work as a keynote speaker.

Beginning her career as a multi-vocal impersonator, Christina has headlined on international cruise ships, casino showrooms, and major corporate events. She has performed on some of Canada’s most iconic stages, including the Royal Alexandra Theatre and the Charlottetown Festival. Recently, she became the first trans woman to play the lead trans character in ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’ at the Huron County Playhouse, a historic first in North America. In addition to her stage career, Christina is an award-winning screenwriter and producer. Her films have been featured at nine international film festivals. Most notably, she co-wrote and produced ‘She Came Back’, a psychological thriller starring Colm Feore and Amybeth McNulty, now available on Apple TV. Her award-winning musical comedy ‘No Chance in Hell’ earned multiple accolades, including ‘Best of Fest’ and ‘Patron’s Pick’ at the Toronto Fringe Festival. Her work as a screenwriter and producer has been celebrated internationally, and her artistic efforts continue to break new ground.
