A talented broadcaster and journalist, Owain Wyn Evans is currently a reporter for The One Show and the lead weather presenter for BBC North West Tonight. Having also presented the weather for a variety of other nations and regions, Owain is well known for his flamboyant personality and joyful presenting style. Throughout his career, Owain has openly spoken about his sexuality and exposed the homophobic abuse he has fallen victim to. He has also appeared as a guest on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, starred in Freeze The Fear With Wim Hof, presented the BBC’s New Year’s Eve The Big New Year, presented In Conversation With for BBC Sounds and completed a 24-hour drumathon for Children in Need.

In recognition of his talent, Owain has been presented with the 2019 Best TV Presenter at the 02 Media Awards and the 2021 Best Regional Presenter and Best Breakthrough Talent Awards at the Royal Television Society North West Awards.
