Stand-up comedian, Stephen K Amos is a consummate performer who has entertained audiences across the globe with his comical genius. Having performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year since 2003 and been nominated three times for the Chortle Best Compere Award, Stephen is a fan favourite on the comedy circuit. Openly gay, Stephen has spoken on his own sexuality in his comedy sketches and promotes acceptance of the LGBT+ community.

Entertaining audiences for many years, Stephen made his debut on the comedy circuit in 2001. Since then, he has been a regular performer at a variety of national and international comedy competitions and shows- such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Reading Festival. He has also performed at The Comedy Store in London and was one of the performers on the main stage at London 2010 Pride.

Stephen has also enjoyed a successful TV career, appearing on the likes of EastEnders, Live at the Apollo, the Royal Variety Performance, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, Soccer AM and QI. He has also released two hilarious comedy DVDs, titled Find the Funny and The Feel Good Factor. Also a published author, Stephen has written I Used To Say My Mother Was Shirley Bassey. Highly commended over his career, Stephen has also been named the Best International Comedian and awarded a Royal Television Society Award.

With such a successful career as a comedian and TV personality behind him, Stephen is now a popular choice as a host for events. Openly gay, Stephen is also passionate to make the world a more inclusive place for all and has authentically spoken about sexuality in his comedy performances. Having performed at Pride events and spoken out about discrimination of both Black people and members of the LGBT+ community, Stephen K Amos is a fantastic choice as an LGBT speaker or host for events.
